Pastor’s Message

Hello, my name is John Rehling, and I am the pastor here at Mt Greenwood Community Church where I have been ministering since October 2022. I am also an instructor of world religions at Moraine Valley Community College having taught at the college for almost 20 yrs.

I was born and raised right here in Mt Greenwood. I graduated from Chicago Christian High School and Trinity Christian College both in Palos Heights and then received my Master of Divinity degree from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School located in Deerfield, IL.  

I am very familiar with the demographics and people of this area. This familiarity allows me to speak freely and comfortably with people because I can relate to  and openly discuss various topics with them.
